If you are researching photographers for your upcoming photo session, you will undoubtedly gather a list of questions that will need to be answered in order make a decision on who to hire that will be the best fit for your needs. Before your session we will discuss all the details and I’ll answer any questions you might have. Below are some of the most asked questions from my clients before a session. We will have a chat to discuss details like location, what to wear, ideas for your session, and I’ll answer any questions you might have. I have found from experience, that a quick 15 minute chat or email allows me to be well informed. I can then be well prepared for the photography session. Good preparation, results in a relaxed family and photographer and gives beautiful images. There is nothing you need to worry about before your session and you won’t need to buy anything unless you would like to.
During our session, I will give you directions and will suggest you do things you love to do. I will guide you though the entire process, and I will help you with posing and feeling relaxed during your photo session. My aim is to capture photos that make you heart warm whenever you look at them. The more fun you have, the better my photos will be. Candid moments and interactions are my favourites, but we will also have some staged photos taken.
When your photos are ready I will contact you with your photo gallery by email (within 1-2 weeks). Your images will be available to download when I send you your gallery. You can then save, share and print as you want.
In the lead up to our shoot I will give you tips of what looks good in pictures. Feel free to also explore my portfolio for ideas of what other families have opted for and see whether these match your style and preference.
I am used to working with children of all ages, I have two children myself and 3 nieces and nephews. Some of the most boisterous, fun filled sessions result in the most natural photographs, so let them enjoy it and relax.
Not at all. All the pictures that you will receive as part of your package are professionally retouched by me. I retouch by hand and do not work with filters or presets. An unretouched picture is an unfinished product, so I will never deliver an unretouched picture as part of your package.
